This weekend was filled with visiting dear friends and family members who came to support us during our loss. Texas Children's Hospital was our first stop on Saturday morning. Packed down with all the yummy things we could never eat all of and a smile we were welcomed like family. There was a long line of people (nurses, doctors, parents, and paitents)waiting to hug and support us which made things easier. Emily only asked to see Malachi one time and we reminded her he was not there. She seemed okay with that answer rembering the night before we had sent a balloon to him in heaven. With Ben's support I made the hardest trip and in the end was uplifted even more! Saturday Ben, Emily and I headed to Alvin and got to have a night filled with laughter as we shared a meal provided by the Alvin church with the Osbourn family. Lots of laughter and joy! Sunday we went to worship and as usual learned so much from God's words. I will share later as I have time to put my thoughts in better order. We were loved and hugged and supported! The rest of the day was spent with the Schaefers in the sunshine. Please be praying for the San Antonio group. With our sorrow we can find peace, but with theirs souls are battling with the devil and Christ is not being asked to help. Our love and support to the people involved makes the matter hurt so much more. We will continue petitioning for Christ to be put first and to lead others in what to do. Thank you for still being here for us. We love you all dearly!

I as I sit here in the early morning after the visitation and Memorial service I think of what to say. All the words escape me as they have in the last three days. Nothing will bring Malachi back, yet nothing can take him away. He is ALIVE in Christ living in our memories and written up on our hearts! Thank you to each one of you who have prayed so diligently over the last few months, thank you to those who have shed tears as well as laughter with us, and thank you to all of you who are part of our Christian family lifting us up still! You are what will carry us through because God put you here to do just that. We have been filled with such a peace that passes all understanding. The last two days of " CELEBRATION" have been amazing. Thank you each for sharing Malachi with us. May he live on in you and the message you take to others. We love you all!!!
