How ironic that my last posting was of Malachi's progress and this one is of his leaving this earth.
Below you will read the statement from his parents, again, confirming their incredible faith:
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day--and not only me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Malachi Thomas Schaefer did just that. He fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith. Now on the 19th day of June, 2007 he quietly passed on to receive his crown of righteousness. We thank you all for your prayers as Malachi fought his battle against AML . When funeral arrangements have been made we will post the information. Please keep praying for our family as we endure his loss.
